TeamTeacher.ai

We built an AI assistant specifically for teachers because teachers deserve nice things.

Transforming Education Through Teacher-Centered AI

At TeamTeacher.ai, we're on a mission to transform teaching into a more effective, inclusive, and joyful experience. Founded in April 2024 with my brother Joe McCarron, TeamTeacher.ai was born from a simple yet powerful idea: teachers are good, they deserve better tools, and they should be at the center of AI implementation in education.

The Problem We're Solving

The teaching profession has undergone dramatic changes in recent years, often without necessary support or resources. Many schools have moved away from textbooks, shifting the burden of curriculum development onto teachers. While this offers more flexibility, it also means teachers are now responsible for creating comprehensive learning materials, aligning them with educational standards, developing assessments, and writing task-specific rubrics – all without additional time or compensation.

This is just one example of how teachers' workloads have intensified. Add increasing societal expectations, the need for personalized learning, and the challenges of educating students in an ever more complex world, and it's no wonder teacher burnout has reached critical levels.

Minerva, the first of our AI agents

Our Solution

Enter TeamTeacher.ai – your AI-powered team with a master's degree in school curricula. Our AI agents are specialized tools built with deep knowledge of specific curricular frameworks, resources, and best practices in education.

Our agents can handle time-consuming tasks like generating vocabulary lists, creating learning objectives, drafting personalized report card comments, or developing assessment rubrics – all tailored to your specific curriculum and teaching style.

But we're not just about saving time (although we do that too). We've designed our tool to be intuitive and, dare we say, FUN! By reducing the burden of tedious tasks, we help reignite the passion and creativity that drew you to teaching in the first place.

Recent Collaborations

We recently partnered with The Fénix Foundation to develop "DDE GPT" - a specialized AI chatbot that helps users navigate and apply the 2022 Leiden Guidelines on Digitally Derived Evidence in International Criminal Courts and Tribunals.

This project sits at the intersection of international justice and AI technology, supporting lawyers and investigators in their work with digital evidence. As part of this collaboration, we helped organize a Hackathon in January 2025 with the University of Amsterdam's Digital Methods Initiative.
